Our 30 day program focuses on healing the individual, as well as helping members of their family. During this month-long program, we strive to help participants form a solid foundation in recovery. Our goal is to identify factors that contribute to addiction, and help residents regain their health and achieve greater wellness.. We provide the support, skills and resources necessary to make the life-changes that will prevent relapse and lead to a new and better future.

We work with each person, addressing specific needs and helping them find a path to wellness that offers lasting recovery. We identify and address underlying issues such as chronic pain, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse. We respect each person by honoring the gifts and strengths that will help them succeed in recovery, and by helping them identify and address issues that could lead to relapse. Our holistic focus helps residents become attuned to their own level of wellness and learn to monitor and tend the authentic needs expressed by their body, mind, emotion and spirit. As participants work toward achieving wholeness, they also learn how to establish and cultivate healthy relationships and find new sources of happiness.

The primary reason why people come to the Institute is to overcome addiction, but we are also able to treat a wide range of other issues that are referred to as “co-occurring.” Our expertise includes helping people affected by depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, PTSD, abuse and emotional distress. One area in which the Institute has a very strong reputation is the effective treatment of chronic pain using natural means that do not rely on addictive medications.

The Institute operates under the strictest rules of confidentiality. Our secluded location allows participants to receive treatment in an atmosphere that ensures privacy.

Is treatment covered by insurance?Is treatment covered by insurance?
The conditions under which your insurance will be responsible for the full cost of your treatment are very limited. Medical detox is almost always fully covered. The balance of your program will require some personal contribution. The Institute has scholarships and financial aid (for those who qualify) that may cover part of your recovery program. Our staff is also ready to help you arrange the balance of your payment on very reasonable terms. We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid insurance.

Millions of people suffering from addiction have found the road to recovery requires God’s help. 12-Step programs and the principles of AA are based in the belief that we cannot escape the power of this disease without reliance on God. Our Christian, non-denominational program welcomes you and your faith -- however they are expressed. We will provide encouragement to embark on a spiritual journey as you purse your recovery, acknowledging God's infinite compassion and love for you.

Do you provide a detox program?Do you provide a detox program?
The Institute works in co-operation with area partners to provide medically supervised detoxification. Professionals with years of experience direct this program to safely and comfortably detoxify individuals from all mind-altering chemicals when this treatment is indicated. Transfer to the Institute occurs as soon as the individual is ready (usually 3-5 days.) If medical detoxification is not required, the Institute will provide a non-medical detoxification program that cleanses the body and begins the healing process.
