Our Professional Team

The objective of St. Joseph Institute is to provide the best possible care for the residents in our treatment for substance abuse program by offering a renowned professional team of highly credentialed individuals with many years of experience in addiction recovery, behavioral health, pain management, and the treatment of co-occurring conditions.

Clinical Director: Torrie Headley, MA, LPC, CAADC, CCS

Torrie is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Clinical Supervisor with more than 25 years of clinical experience in the Mental Health and Addiction Field.  She attended Webster University, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she was awarded a Masters Degree in Counseling.  Following graduate school, Torrie continued her post graduate interests at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine; earning a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Psychology (Cognitive Behavior Therapy).  She has a breadth of experience in both outpatient and residential settings.  This includes services to adolescents, adults and their families. Torrie has worked as a Mobile Therapist, Behavioral Specialist Consultant, Counselor, and Clinical Supervisor and as a Clinical Director.  Torrie’s passion lies in service to others and counselor development which directly correlates to quality client care and the best possible program for addiction recovery.

Judy DashnerExecutive Director: Judy Dashner, MHSB, CADC,CCDP, SAP

Judy has more than 22 years of experience working in the addiction treatment field. She has served in many capacities, from working as a counselor to being a clinical director. Judy completed her Master's at Liberty University and received a graduate certification in military resilience. Judy is a certified addictions counselor, a co-occurring disorders professional, and a substance abusers professional. She has a passion for working with individuals who struggle with addiction and their families.


Counselor: Megan Snyder, MA, LPC, NCC, CAADC​

Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and was awarded a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with highest honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is also a National Certified Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Megan’s counseling experience includes both mental health and addiction counseling. She has served as a counselor in a prison, at a university, and with a community mental health program.


Kelli CorlCounselor: Kelli Corl, MS, LBS

Kelli is a licensed behavior specialist who provides counseling and therapy to individuals, groups, and families. She has extensive experience as a mobile therapist conducting in-home individual and family intensive therapeutic services. With over 10 years as a behavior specialist, Kelli also has broad experience in the areas of Drug and Alcohol treatment including the management of co-occurring disorders and relapse prevention. Completing her post graduate studies at Francis Marion University, Kelli earned an MS in Applied and Clinical Counseling.  


Mark Robbins

Counselor: Mark Robbins, M.Ed.

Mark has a breadth of experience in counseling with over 18 years in clinical services. His early work was as a teen parent counselor with at-risk youths. He has also worked as a family counselor using the following therapy modalities: Family Based, Functional Family, and Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care. Mark has spent the last 16 years working as a drug and alcohol therapist and has experience with individual, group, and intensive outpatient counseling. He completed his undergraduate degree at Bloomsburg University and his master’s degree in counselor education at The Pennsylvania State University.

JoeAnne Butz
Counselor: JoeAnne Butz, MA

JoAnne completed her Master’s in Professional Counseling at Liberty University and is currently enrolled in a post-Master’s certificate program in Co-occurring Disorders at Adler Graduate School. She has experience working in Drug and Alcohol inpatient settings, as well as, outpatient individual counseling with adolescents, adults, and couples.


Cindy NewcomerCounselor: Cindy Newcomer, BS

Cindy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Social Work from Lock Haven University. Since her graduation in 1998, she has worked as an outpatient addictions counselor  facilitating individual and group counseling sessions. She has worked within a community correctional facility and spent many years as a Drug and Alcohol Case Manager for an SCA, completing level of care assessments, making referrals for addiction treatment, working as a liaison for individuals and community resources to better enhance their support network, and reducing obstacles to successful treatment outcomes.

Valerie AlbroCounselor: Valerie Albro, MSW

Valerie earned her Masters in Social Work from Temple University in addition to her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University. She has experience working in Drug and Alcohol inpatient settings, which consisted of individual, group, and family sessions. She also worked as a drug and alcohol mental health therapist, which included an intensive outpatient program and outpatient services.



Dr. Bill Hanlon

Physical Therapist: Bill Hanlon, PT, DPT, MSPT, OCS

Dr. Hanlon is a licensed physical therapist and board certified orthopedic clinical specialist with extensive coursework and 25 years of clinical experience in relieving pain through manual therapy and exercise. He is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at St. Francis University. As a licensed physical therapist, Dr. Hanlon has had extensive experience treating carpal tunnel syndrome, cardiac and pulmonary problems (including asthma), musculoskeletal injuries, SI dysfunction, piriformis syndrome, chronic pain, rotator cuff problems, knee problems, foot problems and thoracic outlet syndrome.


Dr. Greg Famiglio Medical Director: Gregory Famiglio, MD, MBA, ABAM  

Dr. Famiglio is extraordinarily qualified with specialization in the treatment of addiction and chronic pain. He is board certified in both Addiction Medicine and Anesthesiology. His degrees are from MIT, Jefferson Medical College, and the University of Southern Florida. Dr. Famiglio’s residencies and fellowships were at Georgetown University Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. During more than 20 years of practice, he has been the medical director and staff physician at several large facilities and an associate professor in all aspects of medicine at Lock Haven University.
