Intensive Outpatient Program: On the Path to Your Recovery Journey

beautiful young woman with dark brown short hair smiling at the camera - recovery journeySimilar to our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is offered at our new location in Wexford, PA. It’s also a structured treatment program for individuals dealing with addiction issues. However, there are some key differences between the two.

While a PHP typically involves more intensive treatment and requires individuals to spend several hours a day in a treatment facility, an IOP offers a less intensive level of care. In our IOP, individuals attend treatment sessions for a few hours several times a week, allowing them to maintain their daily routines such as work or school during the day.

IOP services are offered at our newest location:
St. Joseph Institute Outpatient Center
11269 Perry Hwy, Suite 430,
Wexford, PA 15090

IOPs are often used as a step-down from more intensive levels of care such as inpatient or partial hospitalization programs, or as an alternative to these programs for individuals who don’t require 24-hour supervision but still need structured support and treatment. They can be an effective option for individuals who are motivated to recover from addiction but require more support than traditional outpatient therapy can provide.

Program Highlights include:

  • Masters Level Therapists
  • Weekly Individual Counseling
  • Weekly Family Group Sessions
  • Weekly Continuing Care Group
